WHAT IS ADACEL®?

Adacel® is a vaccine for adults, adolescents and children
between the ages of 4 and 64. It helps protect against 3 diseases:
  • Tetanus
  • Diphtheria
  • Pertussis (whooping cough)
All 3 of these diseases can be serious. However, pertussis is a particular concern, because it is currently one of the most prevalent vaccinepreventable diseases in Canada.
